Wonderful, friendly staff! Johan and Rey were extremely helpful. Although it took longer to get everything fixed than originally anticipated, they pushed hard and past closing the last day so that I could get my car when I needed it. Thank you!

Their 3 year warranty means jack shi... Took it to them 2025 because of a manifold. When i got my car back, it started heating up (my temp needle would never go above middle) that the needle would bounce up and down. Got it under control until I took it back to them for a busted line. They "fixed" it but the same thing started happening again with the needle. Called them and they wanted to charge me 1200 for them to check that they did their job correctly the first time in 2025 They also charged me to replace and clean my coolant, at least thats what I was told, and nope. They either didnt do it or mixed coolant colors, which is what John the manager said, but then he said they did do a complete cleanse. Take in consideration for my Jeep the color is purple, when I saw my coolant it was orange with oxidation like color. Just because they give you free car washes and shirts doesn't mean they are honest. Video shows dirty rusted coolant. Oh and wait, John wanted me to pay for them to replace my coolant to the original color (purple) because he said they did it the first time. John the manager is a scheming con. Even after speaking with a technician from the Jeep dealership and the tech saying "mixing colors is a big no no, it should only be the purple" john said he doesn't know what he is talking about because John has XX years in the industry. Their response is a lie and disrespectful. They think im jist going to agree with them even after i did my due diligence.

Hello Alex. Our District Manager Don reached out and left a message, but here's what we know so far. We replaced your intake manifold in March of 2025. You came back on April 21st, 2026 (13 months later) and we replaced a leaking coolant hose for you as well as flushed your coolant system. We used the Mopar/Jeep factory coolant per your request which is a red/orange color. The video you shared is EXACTLY the color the coolant is supposed to be. We advised you after that hose was replaced that there may be an additional leak from another area. You declined any further work. You then returned 6 days later with a coolant leak from the thermostat housing. You advised us that YOU just replaced the thermostat and declined any further repairs. While we understand this was a difficult and complex situation, context and details are important to the story. Please contact us with any questions.

Came in with a minor noise, left with a huge charge, a safety concern, and no responsibility taken I brought my Toyota Camry to Placentia Super Service on 6/12 for a light whistling noise from the front wheels when reversing or turning slowly. The brakes otherwise worked fine. Instead of a small fix, I was sold a full front and rear brake job (pads and rotors) plus add-ons: a fuel/air induction service, an air filter, and a transmission service. The total came to about $1,796. I agreed to the extras because I trusted that after a big service my car would run trouble-free. But when I checked my old air filter myself, it was nearly clean and did not need replacing at all. It made me realize some of these add-ons were sold to me whether I needed them or not. That bill also had a $42.89 "Total Fees" line with no explanation. When I questioned it, since I had taken all four old pads and rotors home myself and there was nothing to dispose of, they refunded only $20, and only because I asked. I should never have been charged it. Right after that service my brakes lost their firm feel. The pedal went soft, sinks far down, and the car no longer stops the way it used to. On two separate occasions I narrowly avoided rear-ending the car in front of me on the freeway, because the car took too long to stop and the pedal felt spongy. This is a serious safety issue. I returned on 6/19. Instead of honoring the warranty, they charged me another $150 for a brake fluid exchange and master cylinder service. It still wasn't fixed. On 7/24 I came back again. This time their own technician documented the problem and blamed paint and coating transfer from the rotors they had installed, which glazed the pads. They replaced the front pads and rotors under warranty, but the braking still isn't right, and I was told that if it continues I may need to pay for a "higher-quality aftermarket set." So after charging me a premium up front, they admitted in writing that the parts they installed were inadequate and suggested I pay again to fix a problem they caused. (I've attached that invoice so you can see it.) Every time I came in for warranty or follow-up work I was told they were short staffed, yet staffing was never an issue when it was time to charge me. When I asked to speak with the manager, I was told he was unavailable, even though he was on site. Corporate called once for feedback and never followed up. It felt like the approach at the front desk was to keep charging for one service after another, whether or not it addressed the actual problem, until the customer either gave up or ran out of patience. As a customer, I was made to feel like I didn't know any better and could be billed for anything. Six weeks, three visits, and about $1,950 later, I'm left with a safety concern, brakes that don't stop properly, that started with their work and is still not fixed. I don't recommend this shop.

Hello Nishant! We apologize for the reasons that prompted you to share your experience. Leaving a review whether it be positive or negative is a great tool for a business to receive feedback and train/coach employees to be better at their jobs. Both our shop manager and District Manager reached out to you to try to rectify your situation and address your vehicle's concerns. You did answer us, but are refusing to allow us an opportunity to inspect the vehicle free of charge to see what we can do to help you. If you change your mind, you know how to reach us.

Placentia Super Service saved the day for our family when our Suburban’s transmission overheated while driving from San Jose to Irvine. We were only in Irvine for four days and they were able to perform the necessary repairs to get us back on the road within a day and a half. Ricky was great to work with, the staff was friendly, and the waiting room was clean with lots of snacks. Highly recommend!

Thank you so much for the wonderful review, Lisa! We're glad Ricky and the team could get your Suburban repaired quickly and help get your family safely back on the road. We appreciate your kind words about our staff and waiting room, and we're grateful for your recommendation. Safe travels, and we're here if you ever need us again!

Poor Workmanship Brought my 2017 Subaru Forester here because the AC was blowing hot air. I paid $2,496.13 to remove and replace the compressor, but only a couple of days later, it was blowing warm air again. When I took it back, they refused to take accountability. They claimed it was a completely "new" issue, diagnosed a leaking evaporator core, and wanted to charge me another $1,822.37 (which supposedly included a $300 discount) to tear apart my dashboard, and remove and replace the evaporator core, for a 3-day repair. I declined and took my car straight to the Subaru dealership for a second opinion. The dealership immediately found that the actual cause of the leak was coming from the compressor outlet and expansion valve. The compressor O-rings were dried out and squared, and the expansion valve was missing a required second O-ring, while the single one installed was the wrong size. The dealership fixed the butchered installation by replacing the O-rings for $770.61 (labor and parts), and my AC works perfectly now. See the pic of the receipt from the dealership with the description of the work actually completed and the cost. The first shop completely misdiagnosed the issue to cover up their own poor workmanship and tried to charge me for an expensive, unnecessary remove and replace of the evaporator core behind the dashboard. See the pic of the receipt form this repair shop with the description of the work to be done, and the estimated cost – and the evaporator core wasn’t even the problem. Poor workmanship, zero accountability

Good afternoon Rick and Amy this is Benjamin the Assistant District Manager. I thank you for the time you took to leave the review. I have been trying to get in contact with you guys to get this situation corrected for you. Based on the repairs we did and the repair the dealership performed it sounds like the o-rings that were replaced during the repair possibly got damaged during installation of the parts. This is something that we do watch very closely and try to avoid. It is also something that we would absolutely cover and issue reimbursement under the warranty. Please call back at 714-528-1828 or email [email protected]. I have attempted to call and message on multiple occasions. We truely would like to make this right for you. I hope you have a great night. Talk to you soon.
