This is a long overdue review for Placentia Super Service. I feel like Bob & Andy and the entire crew at Placentia Service deserve far more than 5 stars for providing beyond excellent service over the past two years that I have been taking my car(s) to them for various repairs/oil changes/etc. . After taking my car to a different auto shop/mechanic for over 10 years, they stopped providing transportation services, which I need as I am the only driver in my household. Also, I was ready to transfer anyways as I was no longer satisfied with my prior shop. I had kept an ad for Placentia Super Service for quite awhile and decided to take my car in for an oil change, etc. When I first called Super Service, back in 2018, I spoke with Bob, who was very friendly and helpful. Their "Friendlier Service" part of their ad is absolutely 'Truth in Advertising'. Also, as a woman going into any auto shop, I never know what to expect. Bob was very kind and helpful, and put me at ease so I felt comfortable going in to the shop and getting my car worked on there. The service provided and rates were very fair and there was no pressure to get work done that my car didn’t need. There were no excessive charges/rates, nor anything that seemed excessive. Every time I have taken my Honda in for service, they have provided an evaluation, which they sent to my phone/email, and I was able to see what was urgent, what could wait, and what condition my vehicle was in overall. This way I was able to decide what to have done, or postpone, according to my budget and what is necessary or urgent. Since I have been a customer, they also sent me coupons, some of which are also available online. It is very clear at Placentia Super Service that they truly care about their customers. In addition to friendliness, and excellent mechanical/repair work, they provide a lot of extra niceties, such as transportation to/from your home, or other (if needed), TV, snacks and drinks in their waiting area, and a concierge service if desired/needed. This year they have gone all out to provide a COVID safe environment in every respect possible. Recently, I took my mom’s car in for an oil change, and some other services, and they provided a concierge service that was outstanding. They came and picked up my vehicle, did the work, and brought it back when it was ready. This was very reassuring and I was very happy they offered this service since I usually need a ride home and back to the shop later….and this way with COVID, they made the whole process safe and seamless. If you really want an outstanding auto shop, I highly recommend Placentia Super Service. Both Bob and Andy (Co-Owners) and all of the crew that works there are super friendly and kind, and they do an outstanding job.
Top tier service. I was on a trip and needed immediate car service. Don was excellent, he took the time to diagnose the issue with my car, and kept his promise on making sure I got the quick service that I needed to get back on the road home. Once diagnostics are complete, the shop sends you a full report, complete with pictures and notes detailing what issues they found and what needed to be done. My car was ready to go within one hour and I immediately noticed the improvement in how the car drives.

Staff is friendly and helpful. Only had an alignment done but seems like this shop does good honest work. Waiting room is updated and nice, and fully stocked with snacks and drinks. It also has a big window into the shop where I could actually view my car being worked on. There was an error on my paperwork afterward but they’re on top of things and called me before I even got back home. A corrected version was then sent to my email. The error did not affect the work that was done. I would recommend.

Came in for smog check. In and out in about 15 minutes. Very friendly staff, nice comfortable lounge with complimentary snacks and drinks. AAA discount available too! Highly recommend.
