My mother-in-law takes her car here and has had great experiences with Placentia Super Service. I asked them what it would cost to replace my air conditioning system. I had been quoted $1200 to $2000 by 3 other shops. PSS came in at just over $1000, so I decided to give them a shot. I'm so glad I did! "It was a couple of blown fuses and a Freon recharge". $200! They've got a customer for life! It's hard to find an honest mechanic, particularly at the national chains. PSS is legit.
I cant believe what they did , they told me i blew a head gasket and that it would cost me 1400.00 to fix it , i even cried like a baby because i didnt have the money i just started a new job need my car and they looked me in my face and told me that LIARS. the whole time it was just a fan switch 49.00 is what i spent. wow never again will i trust a shop BEWARE enter with caution
We have returned to get our Honda's oil change, better deal than the dealership, and we are satisfied with both the customer service and work done.

After using the Nissan dealer for my car's regular maintenance, I went with Firestone Auto for oil changes, breaks and things like that. Lately, they've started finding URGENT needed repairs which seem very expensive but are pushed on you with their deferred interest rate credit card. At Placentia Super Service, it was refreshing to receive a 60 point inspection, with my oil change, that went in accordance to the wear and tear of my vehicle. The needed repairs were presented in order of priority, along with their urgency or in today's case; lack of, and without pressure. I also like the flexibility of being able to make my appointments on-line. I highly recommend this place, specially if you are starting to feel like your regular mechanic/auto place is taking advantage of your lack of knowledge about car repairs. GM

I went here for my first time this afternoon. I've always worked at a GM dealership for the most part. Any repairs I could not do, or wanted to tackle, would be done while I was working. What a pleasant experience I had today at Placentia Super Service! Bob and his crew are extremely courteous and easy to talk to. My truck was done faster than they said, which is always a plus. If you haven't had the pleasure of doing business here, you should. Cold sodas, candy, popcorn in the comfy lounge with a nice TV on the wall. Very comfortable atmosphere. Well done guys!!
